Sonic 3D Robo blast II
This is the first freeware fully 3D sonic game that I have come across, so it was quite a nice surprise to find it. Just as with any good Sonic game you are out to collect as many rings as possible and free those poor innocent animals from robotic slavery. The main difference is of course the 3D environment. Although it isn’t wonderful graphics (the resolution is poor) at least it is a change from the usual 2D environment.

The Marvel Super Heroes remake by SpiDoL is a decent effort developed with the MUGEN game engine.This remake is as good as it gets, It makes the player feels like it is playing in a arcade machine. Most of the standard and special moves from the arcade version have been retained, hence veterans should be able to figure out the controls in no time. Some of the new characters are pretty fun to play with as well. A simultaneous team mode also allows all four combatants to slug it out at the same time.

Yeti Sports 2: Orca slap
You play an abominable snowman armed with snowballs. There will be penguins bouncing off a whale’s back and your job is to wallop them with a snowball before they hit the water and then they’ll stick to a dartboard determining your score. Bizarre? It is! This mixture of insanity and outright bizarre game play makes this one of the most enjoyable games I’ve seen.
